The Grand Tour: Next Episode Is Now In Amazon’s Hands

We’ve been waiting months for the next episode of The Grand Tour to be released after Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May finished filming in Madagascar. Fortunately, we may not have too much longer to wait as Jeremy reveals in a recent video that the next episode is in Amazon’s hands.

As the hosts helped raise money for the Felix Project, a charity that helps donate food to people in need, Clarkson reveals that they’re now out of the equation when it comes to the release date.

”If you want to know when the next Grand Tour is out, please don’t ask us, we don’t know,” he says.

“Amazon Prime know, they have it, it’s finished, it’s done, it’s filmed, it’s edited, it’s graded, it’s ready to go.”

This nest episode will see the three presenters drive around Madagascar in three modified cars. From a video made by our friends over at Grand Tour Fans, we can see that these cars are modified for off-road use, and come in the form of a Bentley Continental GT, a Ford Focus, and a Caterham. As you can tell, we’re getting very excited at this premise

Jeremy is also feeling the excitement, as he he goes on:

“It’s up to them when they put it out. We are looking forward to seeing it as much as you are; it was b****y good fun to make in Madagascar which is a hell of a place and we think we made one hell of a story.”

As soon as the Covid pandemic allows for travel, the three motoring presenters will be travelling again to start the filming for the next special episode. We reported that the boys will be heading to Northern Russia, but may have to change their plans depending on what time of year travelling becomes acceptable.

As soon as we know more, we’ll be sure to keep you all updated, but until then, let’s look forward to what Madagascar has in store for The Grand Tour.
