Inspired by modern F1 cars, it’s powered by a 1.6-litre V6 accompanied by a couple of electric turbos and an 800-volt hybrid system. Mercedes promises 1,000 horsepower and a chassis to match this potent level of power. We haven’t seen this too much in real life, though, so with it being spotted at the Nurburgring, we needed to take a deeper look.
The CarSpyMedia video shows a bit of snow on the track, which will obviously hinder the car’s on-track performance. But while its performance isn’t shown off quite as much as we’d like, the sound makes up for it. So fill your boots this Friday as we get fuelled up for the weekend. A high-revving V6 that sounds like an F1 car on the road? Count us in.♦ Follow Grand Tour Nation on Google News
