Girlfriend Lisa Hogan Reveals All On Jeremy Clarkson’s COVID Scare During Clarkson’s Farm Filming

Clarkson’s Farm was full of brilliantly funny moments, heart-warming tales, and lessons of life. But that’s not to say that it was all good. Not only did presenter Jeremy Clarkson not actually make that much money out of the farming escapade, but he also contracted COVID-19 during filming.

How Did Jeremy Clarkson Meet Girlfriend Lisa Hogan From Clarkson’s Farm?

Girlfriend Lisa Hogan On Jeremy Clarkson Getting COVID-19

Girlfriend Lisa Hogan, who accompanied Clarkson during this new project, was there throughout the “petrifying” moment when they found out he’d contracted the virus just before Christmas of 2020. She opened up to the media about what went through her head at the time:

“Jeremy getting Covid was petrifying, but it was thankfully a very light dose.

“But yes, everyone thought at the time that if you got it, you’d end up in a hospital, so we were very aware of that.”

“We were all really careful, no one from the whole crew or anyone on the farm got it,” she assured us..

“We did have one scenario when we were filming with bees where one of the cameramen had the full suit on and the camera was up to his eyes.

“And I had a stick and I was trying to push forward the bit of his suit because I could see the bees on it.

“The next thing someone was panicking, “Two metres, two metres!” he was yelling at me, I backed off and the cameraman got stung twice on his forehead.”

“Jeremy got stung quite badly on his backside,” Lisa told us chuckling.

“I mean, who would you have to be to come back as a bee and get killed on Jeremy’s backside?” she joked. “You’d have to be quite evil in life, wouldn’t you?”

Jeremy Clarkson Admits He Had COVID-19

Clarkson wrote about his experience getting the virus in a column at the time. He wrote:

“Four days before Christmas, I woke in the night to find my sheets were soggy. And that I had a constant dry cough.

“The doctor was very clear – I’d feel under the weather for between five and 14 days and then I’d either get better or I’d have to go to hospital.

“Because I am 60 and fat, and because I’ve smoked half a million cigarettes and had double pneumonia, I’d probably die, on my own, in a lonely plastic tent.”

He adds: “I’m not going to lie — it was quite scary!”

A Video Update From Jeremy Clarkson

“I lay in bed with what felt like a cold, reading a book until it went away, which it now has, I’m delighted to say.

“So chin up, and if you want to buy a trout, these will be ready very soon,” he said.

Alex Harrington

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
