Grand Tour: Jeremy Clarkson And Co Gear Up For Filming Of Next Episode

After The grand Tour was last seen filming in Norway and around the Arctic Circle, we’ve heard very little of what’s to come next. But now Jeremy Clarkson has posted to his Instagram account a tease that shows the Grand Tour crew is back once again and filming the next episode.

In the photo, Jeremy, Richard Hammond, and James May line up in front of their private plane for what we assume to be more filming of The Grand Tour. Jeremy captions: “What airport chaos?”.

Posted less than a day ago, the photo of the three has collected over 300,000 likes as fans celebrate in the comments:

“The lads are back,” one says, with another adding, “So, when is the next special coming out, boyos?”

“My hero’s are getting old,” says a third.

Merely two months ago, Hammond mentioned upcoming filming for the Amazon Prime show. He said:

“We’ve already filmed one – we’re not long back from that,” he said referencing the Arctic Circle special.

“We’re ready to go off and do another, and they are huge missions to go and do,” he said.

“Lockdown was a bit tricky for that, but I think the great thing is I’ve managed to keep busy with other stuff, and we’ll continue to do that.

“The joy for me 30 odd years into a broadcasting career, I’m able to do shows at all ends of the spectrum whether being massively costly, complicated, big ones or smaller, quicker, more light and nimble. So they’re all great fun to make.

“I’ve been lucky enough to sort of cherry pick and do the shows I really want to do. So you’ll never see me there doing something I’m not really engaged in. They’re all things I want to make.”

At the time he didn’t give any details on what we should expect, but obviously it’s out of the country.

“My passport can come out of my desk drawer again,” he joked at the time with RadioTimes. “It’s been locked away like 25 years! Yes, things are easing up and TV and entertainment certainly has a role to play right now. I think anything you can escape into we’re all glad for.”

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
