The Grand Tour

Here’s Your Chance To Own A Car Featured On The Grand Tour And Driven By Jeremy Clarkson

While Clarkson’s Farm is Jeremy Clarkson’s latest success, he will always be known for creating the most popular car show on TV, Top Gear. Eventually, that came to an end and The Grand Tour began on Amazon Prime Video. Several years later, and The Grand Tour is on its fourth season and confined to the UK.

The most recently filmed episode sees the trio driving a number of french cars across the UK, including a 1972 Citroen SM 2.7 owned by Mike Brewer. Jeremy drives this car for the upcoming episode, and now it’s for sale.

This is a dream for Clarkson fans, to be behind the wheel of a car that wasn’t only driven by the presenter, but featured on The Grand Tour.

Mike Brewer, a TV star himself, is auctioning off five cars from his personal collection, one of which includes this gorgeous Citroen. The Citroen SM 2.7 is painted in a beautiful green, which Mike himself describes as a “concourse paint job”.

He said:

“I asked Gary to deliver the best concours paint job he could muster on frankly a car that never looked like it would be straight again.

“Once done, we presented the car on stage at the Classic Motor Show at the NEC in Birmingham. I remember when it drove on to the stage, there were audible gasps coming from the audience. It was an amazing feeling and the car then went on to win the Concurs trophy at the National Citroen meeting, so its fair to say it’s very nice car.”

The car will be sold as part of a Silverstone Auction at the NEC Classic Motor Show on Saturday, November 13.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: [email protected]
