James May Shows What Might Be In Store For The Grand Tour Season 2

James May, being the most active on DriveTribe of the three, has recently given us a sneak peak into what he’s doing at the moment via a photograph.

He shared this photograph to his tribe ‘James May’s Carbolics‘ accompanied by the statement ‘Fezza only just fits in transporter. Other First World Problems invited.’

The photo shows his own Ferrari 458 Speciale tightly loaded onto a transporter. The real question is however, where is it being taken, and will any other cars be joining it on its travels?

I’d love to think that the trio are each bringing their own cars for a challenge in the next season of The Grand Tour. James with his Ferrari, Hammond with Oliver, and Clarkson with… I don’t know… A Mercedes of some sort? Maybe an Alfa?

Not only would this be hilarious to watch them put their own cars at risk – because let’s face it, that’s what would happen – but it would be nice to gain an insight into their own cars and why they bought them.

I’m also strangely interested to see Hammond’s face if something happens to poor little Oliver. Evil, I know.

Oliver, for those who don’t know, is the Opel Kadett that Hammond bought to drive in the Botswana special. Despite having a few mechanical problems – inevitable in a fifty-odd year old Opel – it managed to get through the special without needing any modifications at all. Although a flotation device would have been nice.

DriveTribe seems to think this may indicate what could be coming to The Grand Tour later this year, but we can only hope and look out for more clues from Hammond and Clarkson. Until then, this will all be speculation.
