James May Won’t Be Going To Clarkson’s Farm: Here’s Why

James May has revealed in a recent interview that he won’t be joining Jeremy Clarkson on his farm, Diddly Squat for filming for his popular show, Clarkson’s Farm.

Clarkson’s Farm has become incredibly popular since its release earlier this year, and it quickly became one of the most highly praised programs on Amazon Prime Video. But with the next episode of The Grand Tour, Carnage A Trois, around the corner, it’s no shock that James and Richard have both been asked about joining Jeremy on his farmland.

Clarkson’s Farm has been renewed for a second series, but unfortunately for fans, James May has explained that he won’t be a part of it.

Talking to Ladbible, he said: “A few people have said, ‘oh why don’t you get James and Richard to come and do a few bits on the show’.

“I don’t think he should do that, I don’t think he wants to anyway but it’s not that kind of show.

“I think it’s his farm and it’s his thing and that’s good.

“If I was doing a film about my workshop, I wouldn’t want those two in it going ‘oh I’ve literally broken it”.

“I’d smack them over the head with a shovel and throw them out.”

He has however admitted that he’s “watched a bit of it”, but he’s yet to give us any feedback.

The latest edition of The Grand Tour, a second lockdown special called Carnage a Trois – sees presenters Jeremy, Richard, and James explore the world of French cars.
