Jeremy Clarkson Accused Of Cheating By Co-Hosts In The Grand Tour: A Scandi Flick

The Grand Tour: A Scandi Flick was released on Prime Video on Friday.

Viewers saw the trio, Jeremy Clarkson, James May and, Richard Hammond, travelling around Norway. The hosts were able to choose their cars which all had to be ‘rally-style’. May went for the Mistubishi EVO 8, which he later crashed… twice, Hammond chose a Subaru Impreza WRX and, Clarkson decided on an Audi RS4 B7.

We could see very quickly that Clarkson’s choice annoyed his co-hosts. May explained when asked about his crash that left him with a broken rib:

“I think I did [brake], but I left it as late as possible because I was trying to win. I was getting bored with Clarkson droning on about how his Audi was better, even though he cheated, really, because that’s not a rally car. That is an Audi with some spin off from rallying –i.e. the four-wheel drive and so on –but what he basically turned up with was an executive saloon with a massive engine.

“So I just thought, “Right, I bet I can go faster than him, even with my little engine.” And in fact, it was a draw in the end, wasn’t it? We both did 97.”

The jam-packed episode followed the trio around the Scandinavian country where they towed skiers from their rally cars, raced over an iced over lake and, did the tunnel challenge ending in James May’s hospitalisation. May was quick to assure fans that he was ok and luckily was able to continue with filming.
