Jeremy Clarkson On James Corden Drama: “A Sign Of C*** Flu Madness”

Jeremy Clarkson has weighed in on the drama surrounding The Late Late Show host, James Corden. Manhattan restaurant Baltazar recently banned Corden for his behaviour. The Clarkson’s Farm presenter wrote in his latest Sunday Times column that Corden comes across as a “disgusting, bad-tempered plagiarist”. This also comes after comedian Ricky Gervais accused Corden of stealing on of his jokes.

The Grand Tour host wrote in the column:

“When there are hot and cold running assistants eager to indulge your every whim it’s very easy to become a monster.

“We can all become exasperated when things don’t go to plan on a night out. But why did James order an egg yolk omelette when it wasn’t on the menu? It’s a sign of c*** flu madness.”

Clarkson went back to the time Corden made an appearance on Top Gear for the ‘Star In A Reasonably Priced Car’ segment. He explained that he and his co-hosts James May and Richard Hammond, would rate the guests on how rude they were. He wrote:

“We’d mark them for how rude and late they were and for how many people were in their entourage.

“And here’s the funny thing – if they’d just become famous because they’d won a dancing competition they were often rude and late.”

Clarkson added that Corden was “obviously so disconnected from the real world”. Corden has since made an apology on The Late Late Show saying:

“Because I didn’t shout or scream, I didn’t get up out of my seat, I didn’t call anyone names or use derogatory language, I’ve been walking around thinking that I haven’t done anything wrong.

“But the truth is I have made a rude, rude comment. And it was wrong. It was an unnecessary comment, it was ungracious to the server.”
