Jeremy Clarkson Puts To Sleep I’m A Celebrity Amid Rumours Of The Grand Tour Presenter Being A Contestant

Jeremy Clarkson, The Grand Tour presenter who was recently spotted filming in Scotland alongside Richard Hammond and James May, has answered a fan’s question regarding his inclusion in this year’s I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here TV show.

Rumours have been circulating of the ex-Top Gear presenter possibly being a contestant in the next I’m a Celebrity, where he’d be forced to undertake challenges involving creepy crawlies and other fear-inducing dangers. With this year’s series of I’m a Celeb’ being set in Wales thanks to the Covid pandemic and resulting regulations, it was looking even more likely that Clarkson could be a contestant.

But yesterday on Twitter, Clarkson was keen on quelling any potential rumours as he replies to a fan questioning if he was involved.

“I really hope @JeremyClarkson is going into @imacelebrity this year,” a fan asks.

“I can assure you I’m not,” Clarkson quickly replies.

Even James May joined in when he was tagged in a reply to Clarkson explaining how millions of people would love to watch, including his fellow presenters:

James ensured the fans knew his thoughts on this:

I’m sure fans who are waiting for the next episode of The Grand Tour will be happy to hear that Clarkson won’t be wasting time on another show, especially as it’s already been a year since the last episode of Amazon’s motoring show. This next episode, set in Madagascar, has had its release date pushed back further than we ever thought thanks to the effects of Covid, and fans aren’t happy about the lack of communication from Amazon Prime.

We’ve been told the Madagascar episode will be released before Christmas, but a confirmed date is still in the air.
