Jeremy Clarkson Reveals Advertising Standards Clash At Clarkson’s Farm

Fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming second season of Clarkson’s Farm where we are set to see many of the ins and outs of the drama surrounding the farm.

The first season showed us Jeremy Clarkson figuring out the his new farming venture, often making mistakes and being told off by his number-two, Kaleb Cooper.

In the second season, we are expecting to see more details on Clarkson’s Hawkstone Lager, which is made from the Diddly Squat Farm barley. The Grand Tour host previously admitted to having the lager slogan shot down by the Advertising Standards Authority.

Clarkson was determined to use the slogan:

“If you’re an alcoholic, don’t fight it, feed it”

In a conversation with The Sun, Clarkson explained:

“‘If you’re an alcoholic, don’t fight it, feed it’ fell foul of the regulator,'”

“There’s so much you can’t say. For example, ‘This is a delicious breakfast beer’ — they won’t allow it.

“It’s very boring. Basically, all I’m allowed to say is, ‘This is lager’.”

Clarkson recently took to the Instagram account for Hawkstone Lager to reveal that the harvest is now finished, saying:

“Yes! The harvest is in, and now you can all relax because it means that the supply for Hawkstone Lager for 2022, unlike gas, electricity and avocado’s, is assured.”
