The Grand Tour

Jeremy Clarkson Takes Aim At Former Footballer Peter Crouch In Hilarious Twitter Post

Clarkson’s Farm host Jeremy Clarkson has hit out at former professional footballer, Peter Crouch, on Twitter.

The Grand Tour host has chimed in on a discussion between Piers Morgan and Peter Crouch on the social media platform. TV personality, Piers Morgan, posted to his followers defending himself over backlash he received for criticising Meghan Markle and her ongoing rift with the Royal Family. He wrote along with sharing multiple photos of his wife:

“All the trolls raging that I only criticise Meghan Markle because I ‘fancied’ her & then got upset when she ghosted me… have reminded me that I forgot to publicly wish my wife Celia a happy birthday yesterday. (And yes, she knows she lucked out….)”

Former footballer Peter Crouch, who is married to model Abbey Clancy, responded to it jokingly saying:

“Ahhh a fellow puncher”

The former Top Gear host joined in agreeing with Crouch that he is “punching” with his wife but took it a bit further in his hilarious response. He said:

“Nah mate. No one punches higher than you”

Clarkson fans are waiting for the release of the next Grand Tour special. Although the release date has not been confirmed yet, it is rumoured to come out in the New Year. Clarkson was filming earlier this year with his co-hosts, Richard Hammond and James May, in Europe. We last saw the trio hosting together for The Grand Tour: A Scandi Flick which was released in September. The hosts travelled around a snowy Norway in their choice of rally-inspired cars.

It was also just confirmed by Prime Video that the second series of Clarkson’s Farm will be released on 10th February 2023 and filming has already started for the third series of the hit farming show. Clarkson will be joined by fan favourites Kaleb Cooper, Lisa Hogan, Charlie Ireland, and Gerald Cooper.
