Jeremy Clarkson’s Daughter Praised For Standing Against Presenter’s Meghan Markle Comments: “Toxic Parent”
Jeremy Clarkson’s daughter, Emily, publicly took a stand against the presenter over the weekend for his latest comments on Meghan Markle in his column for The Sun.
Emily wrote to her Instagram followers:
“My views are and have always been clear when it comes to misogyny, bullying and the treatment of women by the media. I want to make it very clear that I stand against everything that my dad wrote about Meghan Markle and I remain standing in support of those that are targeted with online hatred.”
The Grand Tour host has received a huge amount of backlash from his comments where he said he “hated Meghan Markle on a cellular level” and that he lies awake at night “dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her.”
TV personality, Carol Vorderman very quickly called Clarkson out and also praised Emily for speaking up against her father. Vorderman wrote to her Twitter followers:
“She’s a good hearted young woman Emily and suffered very badly from online abuse when she was younger. And has spoken about it many times x”
