The Grand Tour Trio: Named Britain’s Highest Earning Celebrities With £32 Million Turnover

Accounts for W. Chump & Sons have been published to Company’s House for the year ended December 2018 with a turnover of £31,675,399.

This incredibly high turnover makes Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May the highest paid stars of the year, with The Grand Tour quickly growing in fame and with season 3 being the best one yet according to fans. It’s no surprise Amazon wants them for at least another two seasons.

Their production company W. Chump & Sons was set up a year before the first season of The Grand Tour was aired, with smaller companies under it used for production and merchandise. However, production for The Grand Tour will now be under the control of Expectation due to the diminishing need for The Grand Tour team to be in control of it, leaving them to focus on writing and filming.

After tax and investment back into the business, the team – including executive producer Andy Wilman – rakes in a profit of £2,788,324.

The Grand Tour Season 4 returns around Christmas with a different format but only two episodes.

  1. Need more episodes of Grand Tour, I’m a woman and love the show! My whole family can’t wait to watch each episode, sometimes we review older shows too! Love these guys!

  2. Extremely disappointed that a “season” will constitute 2 episodes. Of course I will still watch, but I think that 2 episodes is not nearly enough to keep fans satisfied.
