Race On The Top Gear Test Track Using Google Maps – You Know You Want To

We’ve been waiting patiently for the Top Gear Test Track to be torn down to make way for more housing for a while now. In fact, I believe it’s been at least a year since we heard the bad news. Thankfully, it’s yet to be taken from us and still sits ready to be used for the upcoming Top Gear series coming this weekend. But I know you lot aren’t too fond of the new Top Gear, but Google has your back.

A lot of us won’t be lucky enough to ever get some wheels to drive on the track, and while it is available to drive on some video games, Google took it upon themselves to add it to their Street View. You can boot up Google Maps, drop the little yellow person down on the test track, and race the Stig around Dunsfold with him in the Mercedes SLS AMG Black.

Before you say it, I know it’s been there for a good few years, but there are plenty of fans out there who have no idea, so make sure you spread the word! But, before you do that, I know for a fact that you’ll want to spend a few minutes on the track burning some rubber with Stig.
