What Is The Grand Tour Doing With A Yacht?
On Twitter, James May advertised the fact that they used a yacht for filming The Grand Tour Season 2. This yacht is now for sale, but what we’re interested in is why they needed a yacht in the first place.
We ponced a yacht for filming GT, and now, weirdly, it's for sale. Never driven by Richard Hammond. Bargain. #POA https://t.co/DGW6jaSU7l

Let’s have a think then, there are two possibilities. One – they’re filming on the coast and wanted a shot from the sea, or two – they’re filming on the sea. And this second choice makes slightly more sense doesn’t it? Because as we’ve already seen, they have a jet powered amphibious car at their disposal.
This yacht is now for sale, as James states in his tweet, in Monaco. Whether or not that gives us an idea as to where they’ve been filming we’re not sure, but it’s safe to say that they were filming somewhere around that side of Europe. Vague , I know, but it’s the best we can do. Sorry.
So if you do fancy buying a yacht, it’s on at 250,000 euros a week. Fancy going halves? Or hundredths?
