2020 Corvette Stingray Pricing And Packages Revealed

Chevrolet has officially announced pricing for the 2020 Corvette Stingray and it is quite a bargain. The 1LT Corvette will start at $59,995 including the $1,095 destination charge. Corvette executive chief engineer Tadge Juechter had this to say about the aggressive pricing strategy,

“We’ve packed a lot of performance into the Corvette Stingray at this price when you consider an eight-speed dual clutch transmission, Small Block V-8 and engine-mounted dry sump oil system are all standard.”

You can’t argue with him on that.

2020 Corvette Stingray Pricing And Packages Revealed

If the lightest, most stripped out Corvette possible isn’t your thing, the 2LT package is the next trim level of the 3 available. This adds more luxurious items like heated and cooled seats, upgraded Bose stereo, heads-up display, wireless charging, and one of the most important features in my opinion, the performance data recorder. In case you are not familiar with PDR, it is basically a factory installed dash cam that can also overlay up to 34 performance data points. The top trim level, 3LT, adds upgraded GT2 leather and carbon fiber seats along with other leather and suede interior trimmings.

The Z51 performance package dates back to the C4 Corvettes of the 80’s, it has traditionally been a suspension, braking, and exhaust upgrade package. The $5,000 package earns you a good bit more than that in the 2020 Vette. Standard Z51 upgrades plus a front splitter, rear spoiler, summer only Michelin PS4S tires help give the ability to accelerate from 0-60 in under 3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 194MPH. Not too bad, this package can be added to any trim level car also. My choice would be between a 1LT and 2LT with the Z51 package, however I can’t pass up the heads up display and PDR so I would drop the extra coin on the 2LT Z51.

Customization is also a big priority for the 2020 Stingray with 12 exterior colors, six interior color themes, six seat belt colors, two optional stitch packages and three seat choices. You are more likely to win the lottery than to have the exact same trim level and options as another Corvette. You can head over to to spec your future car right now.
