The Grand Tour Is Up For a BAFTA Award!
The British Academy Television Craft Awards is just around the corner, and it looks like our favorite middle-aged trio is up for an award! The Grand Tour has been nominated for Best Make-Up and Hair Design sponsored by MAC Cosmetics and Make-Up Artist Magazine!
No, I’m joking. In fact, The Grand Tour has been nominated for Best Sound, with Russell Edwards representing the, er…sound. Other categories the show could have been nominated for include Best Director: Factual, Director: Multi-Camera, Editing: Factual, Photography: Factual, and a few more.

But no…we got Sound. Better than nothing, I suppose? All jokes aside, congratulations to Russell Edwards and crew for the nomination. The Grand Tour is up against some pretty stiff competition with the likes of Blue Planet II and The First World War as the other nominees.
But perhaps the soothing sounds of Hammond exploding in a Rimac can convince the voters to go with The Grand Tour!
