Behind The Scenes Of The James Bond No Time To Die Bike Jump
The new James Bond trailer is out and it is one of our most clicked pages of the month, so it’s fair to say you liked it! But there’s a specific part of the No Time To Die trailer that wowed us all, specifically, the bike jump. I presumed it was CGI to be perfectly honest – surely no man with a wish to live would be able to pull something like that off. But as usual, I was wrong. It’s real, and here are the behind the scenes of that exact moment.
The James Bond films have been known to include some hair-raising stunts, but this jump from an arch to scale a wall has to be one of the most spectacular. Pulled off by Daniel Craig’s stunt double, the bike used was a dirt bike that was modified to look like a Triumph Scrambler 1200. Post filming, it looks as though CGI has been used to remove the ramp from the stunt site and make the bike look more like the Triumph.
The actual jump however is completely real, filmed in Matera, Italy, and pulled off in a death defying manner that’s going to give the film that little bit of extra detail that brings it to life for the audience. We can’t wait to watch it on its release in April 2020.
