Here Are The Winners Of January’s Best Car Photos Of The Month
We started this year with the plan to involve you more in what we do. The first part of this plan was to start competitions so we can show off some of your incredible talents and passions. So every month we’re asking you to show us your prized photos that you’ve taken by posting them to our forum. They must be your own photos to enter!
For January, we had over 100 photos entered, each of them amazing in their own way. Because we had so many entries, we’ve decided to choose three of our favourite photos, so here they are.
Each winner will get featured on our social sites, so make sure you check them out, too!
Stoned Sparky – @MikeGalePhotography
Thank you to Stoned Sparky for this amazing photo. There was something we just couldn’t resist with this image. It looks like a snap that’s been taken quickly from an action packed bit of driving, but the post-edit pushes the colours into something very subtle. The dust adds layers to the image and the rays of light pushing through the dust on the left adds warmth that the photo would otherwise be missing.
SK0441 – @saksham.sk14
This, you may have guessed, isn’t a photograph. It’s a 3D render of the Chevrolet Corvette. Now we don’t know much about 3D rendering at GTN, but we couldn’t say no to the hard work and time that’s gone into this. The reflections and shading look spectacular, and the whole image has a moody feel to it which is perfectly reflective of the performance of the Corvette. It’s a bit tasty to say the least.
Maarten – @Visuframe
When we launched this competition, we wanted it to be open to all levels of interest and photographic skill. Now, this image may not be the most professional or high quality, but Maarten has been oozing his enthusiasm all over our forum with photos of weird and wonderful cars. So when you wake up to cool photos of whacky vehicles, how can we not include that in our favourites of the month?
