Meet Gordon Ramsay’s New Ferrari Monza SP2

I reckon you could call Gordon Ramsay a Ferrari fanboy. He not only owns several, including a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and the LaFerrari Asperta, but he can be seen driving them around London on a day to day basis. The celebrity chef loves the prancing horse, and with a new car being added to his collection in the last few days, he’s now got even more to love.

The Monza SP2 is a roofless coach-built special racing car for the road from the Italian marque, and now one belongs to Ramsay. He got his built to his own custom specification – black, with a red stripe that travels the width of the bonnet.

Under this bonnet, by the way, is a V12 that sings to the tune of 798 horsepower and 530 pound-feet of torque. The car, thanks to its low weight can reach 62mph in just 2.9 seconds with a 7-speed dual-clutch managing shifts.

The interior consists of red leather and carbon fibre, and features a very simplistic design.

I think it’s safe to say we’re extremely jealous!

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: alex@grandtournation.com
