The Huayra Imola Is The Most Powerful Pagani Yet
The Pagani Imola was silently shipped off to customers at the end of last year, but now we’ve managed to get our hands on the specs of this special edition Huayra, we’re ready to delve deep into what makes it so special.
Named after the famous Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari track, Imola, the car is a hardcore track-ready weapon that’s had a handful of modifications thrown at it over the standard cars. While its suspension and chassis upgrades are still under wraps, Pagani has released a list of numbers that reveal that it is the most powerful Pagani yet.
Its twin-turbo 6.0-litre V12 engine by Mercedes-AMG has been ramped up and now produces a horrifying 827hp and 811lb ft of torque. That’s 36hp and 37lb ft of torque more than the Huayra BC Roadster – and that thing was bats**t!
As you can see from the photos, the exterior has had a full rework with more aero-improving additions scattered meticulously across the body. There’s now a huge wing at the rear that is only dwarfed by the behemothic diffusor that sits under the bumper. There are also more air intakes for cooling along its flanks and, you didn’t miss that gaping air intake across its roof, did you?
There’s no price attached to this gorgeous machine as of yet, but with the BC Roadster costing upwards of $2.5million, we wouldn’t be surprised if this was reaching into the $3 or even $3.5million range. Not only does it sit at a higher performance level, but there are only 5 examples being made, making it an extremely rare addition to anyone’s garage.
