F1 Fans React To Miami Grand Prix ‘Fake Water’ Before As Race Week Begins
This coming weekend will see the F1 meet the Miami Grand Prix for the very first time, and while drivers and fans alike are excited to see what it will bring to the calendar, there’s one part that’s jumped out at us: the water. Or rather, the fake water.
With the organisers trying to replicate the yachts and boats that make the Monaco Grand Prix so brilliant while also reflecting the Miami seafront, they’ve added a number of boats that surround the track. But it hasn’t quite worked out as well as they hoped as fans start picking apart the design.
In a bid to replicate the marina, they’ve added fake water to some parts surrounding the track, and in the eyes of fans, this looks crap. This is what fans have had to say about it:

The water isn't the only thing that's artificial in Miami pic.twitter.com/ECQiQ4LOHC

If I don’t see Antonio Giovinazzi walk across the “water” in Miami then formula 1 really has failed us

The Miami circuit took inspirations from the pool from GTA VC to fill the marina with fake water 😂😭 pic.twitter.com/ACTWdU1L7T

you'd think with the amount they're charging for the miami gp tickets they'd be able to afford water for the yatch pool
