McLaren’s F1 team has recently taken the wraps off their stunning new livery for the MCL60s, which will make its debut at the upcoming British Grand Prix. Fans of the iconic racing team have been eagerly waiting for this revelation, as the team had been building suspense for the big unveiling. Finally, the wait is over, and the team has presented a splendid design that revives their classic chrome aesthetics.

McLaren has treated fans to a vibrant mix of chrome silver, black, and their signature Papaya orange in the new livery. Along with the reveal, the team posted a series of promotional videos and photographs, teasing, “THE CHROME CAR HAS LANDED! She’s back and ready to rock SILVERstone with our twist on a classic.”

From 2006 to 2015, McLaren’s F1 cars were known for their silver livery, a design that has remained close to the hearts of fans. Statements such as “Will look great in the sun and on the podium this weekend” and “Fantastic, loved the old chrome livery” show just how much fans have appreciated this nostalgic twist.

The British Grand Prix weekend kicks off on Friday, 7 July, and it’s not just McLaren bringing a fresh coat of paint. Williams Racing also plans to introduce a new livery to commemorate their almost 800th race and pay homage to their founder, Sir Frank Williams, who sadly passed away. Although Williams is yet to reveal their new livery, fans are already waiting in anticipation for what promises to be a memorable weekend.
