Last week, emails were sent to GT Fans asking for applications to attend the taping in the UK, in the county where it all began. With over 1 million people applying for the taping in California, we knew that there was going to be a crazy demand for this taping in the boy’s home country.
According to Motoring Research, the VP of Amazon Video EU, Jay Marine, had these comments about the demand for The Grand Tour:
“We are thrilled with the huge demand for tickets to the first UK recording of The Grand Tour and it is amazing that Jeremy, James and Richard have captured the attention of fans in more than 100 countries.
Chosen fans will be contacted over the coming weeks with ticketing details, and all Prime members can look forward to seeing The Grand Tour on 18th November when it launches exclusively on Prime Video.”
There have been some reports that people have already been contacted regarding their application, so if you’ve applied, stay by your phone. The call is coming from an unknown number.
The big question is what kind of show is this UK taping going to be, since there is definitely going to be a lot of emotion flowing being that they’ve been away from their fans for so long.
