Jeremy Clarkson’s Hawkstone Beer To Make Silverstone Appearance

Jeremy Clarkson’s famed farming venture, the Diddly Squat Farm Shop, is set to mark its return at the Silverstone Festival, scheduled for the bank holiday weekend in August. Situated near Chipping Norton, this farm shop owes its inception to Clarkson’s show on Amazon Prime, Clarkson’s Farm.

The previous year saw Diddly Squat making its debut with a pop-up shop at the motorsport extravaganza. This time, attendees have something more to look forward to – a bar offering “Clarkson’s Hawkstone beer”.

Having transformed into a Cotswolds’ landmark, the Diddly Squat Farm shop draws audiences from worldwide. As for its origin, the Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm prompted Jeremy Clarkson and his partner Lisa Hogan to launch it in 2020.

Despite its modest earnings of £144 in its debut season, the shop’s popularity surged in the subsequent season. Fast forward to the present, and it’s not uncommon for visitors from places as distant as Lithuania, Australia, and America to queue up for hours.

The upcoming Silverstone Festival promises more than just a repeat of last year. With an expanded local produce line-up, the highlight remains the Hawkstone beer. Complementing this, a short film has been released, spotlighting Lisa Hogan crafting a “Diddly Squat sandwich” against the backdrop of the Silverstone race circuit. Expressing her anticipation, Hogan shared:

We had such fun last year and now – with Hawkstone on tap, too – we’re even more excited to be coming back again at the end of August.” She further added about the offerings, “As well as Jeremy’s really rather refreshing beer, we’ll have lots and lots of lovely Diddly Squat produce and merchandise on offer and we are all revved up and ready to go.

In a strategic move, the Diddly Squat Farm Shop will occupy a central position, ensuring it remains the festival’s focal point.
