Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 Breaks Viewership Records Despite Recent Controversy

Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 has had a record-breaking viewership since its release this year.

According to Barb (as quoted by, the official audience research group, Jeremy Clarkson’s hit farming show ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ had a record-breaking Season 2 premiere on Amazon Prime Video in the UK. The first series of the Prime Video show received a lot of praise from the farming industry for giving a realistic view of what farmers have to endure, and this season is no different. Whilst Clarkson was having difficulties with the local council and residents to expand his business at Diddly Squat Farm, the show also shone a light on the other local farmers who were struggling to make a profit as well. Although the Grand Tour host planned for his expansions to benefit the other local farmers, the planning applications were not approved, which outraged fans.

As well as the fascinating view into the farming world, fans also love the chemistry between Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper who is not afraid to put the former Top Gear host in his place. Cooper returned for the second series along with Lisa Hogan, Charlie Ireland, and Gerald Cooper.

Despite rumours that Clarkson’s contract with Prime Video would not be renewed beyond 2024, no official statement has been made by Amazon regarding the future of Clarkson’s Farm and The Grand Tour. According to sources, Amazon did not communicate to producers its desire to end the shows, and a third season of Clarkson’s Farm is currently filming. Another episode of The Grand Tour is in post-production, with two more scheduled to shoot, and Amazon has not yet confirmed their renewal.
