Jeremy Clarkson Criticised For Cheating During ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’
Viewers of the recent episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire have shamed presenter Jeremy Clarkson for cheating as he apparently gives away an answer to a question worth £64,000.
Jeremy read the question to Mark the contestant:
“Referring to a situation of total disorder, the term ‘omnishambles’ was used in which TV comedy series?”
With no lifelines remaining and playing with the idea of A: The Thick of It, he was close to giving up and taking the money he’d been able to collect so far.
At this point, Jeremy turns to Mark saying: “Really?
“There’s just two words that I would need to hear if you really have made your mind up.”

Mark continued to think about the answer as Jeremy talked over him: “It’s entirely up to you.”
The contestant changes his mind: “Do you know what £16,000 is still a lot of money and the rest of it isn’t real, so let’s go for it A, please Jeremy.”
The studio erupts as he’s found to be correct, winning the £64,000 prize money. But some viewers watching took to Twitter to voice their concerns, accusing Jeremy of “giving the answer away”.
One viewer questioned his lack of subtlety: “Think Jeremy was a bit too obvious there giving him the go on!! #WhoWantsToBeAMillionaire.”
Another said: “Clarkson goaded him into that #whowantstobeamillionaire.”
“He basically told him it was right,” a third responded.
Mark wasn’t able to get further in the show, taking he £64,000 after not being able to answer the following question and with him using his lifelines earlier on in the show, he had no backup.
“I’ll take the money, please?” he asked Jeremy.
