Designed by Polish designer Paul Breshke, the man behind the gorgeous Bugatti Gangloff, comes this – an Alfa Romeo concept car that is bound to make you yearn for a mid-engined supercar to replace the flawed, but still lovable Alfa 4C. Could this be Alfa’s answer to the McLaren 720s? Answers down below!
The Ferrari Model That Costs More Than The Actual Car
When a car is being developed, it goes through strenuous aerodynamic testing. Especially supercars such as the Ferrari 812 Superfast (I still can’t get over how awful that name is). The model you see above is a 1:2 scale made specifically for wind tunnel testing. It’s made entirely of carbon fibre, but it’s completely useless. Why? No engine, no gearbox, no anything in fact. But the real kicker? It’s worth at least £10-50 grand more than the actual car at anything between £257,650 – £294,465. Fancy it? It’s up for auction at Maranello later this year.
Senna Pulled Off The Impossible
On a wet and rainy Easter Sunday of 1993, Senna sat fourth on the grid at Donington Park Circuit. The video above just goes to show how easily Senna could thread his car through what seemed to be the eye of a needle, eventually coming out the other end in first position with a winning margin of 1m23s. What a talent that man had!
Gear Stick Falls Of Mid-Race
What else can you do when your gear lever falls off but laugh at the scenario? That’s exactly what Ben Rushworth did as he was qualifying at Silverstone and his gear lever assembly snapped in his hands. He did however maintain composure, minus the swearing, and managed to keep his knob between his legs. I’m not joking.
