F1 News: Zak Brown Extends Contract As McLaren CEO

McLaren Racing has announced a significant milestone in its leadership structure, confirming that Zak Brown will continue as Chief Executive Officer until the end of the decade. Initially joining the team in 2016, Brown’s tenure as CEO, which began in 2018, has now been extended.

Since Zak Brown’s induction into McLaren Racing, initially as the Executive Director of McLaren Technology Group in 2016 and subsequently as CEO from April 2018, the team has undergone a significant transformation. With a rich background in professional racing and a profound understanding of motorsport’s business dynamics, Brown has been pivotal in steering McLaren towards a strategic and operational renaissance.

In announcing the extension, McLaren Group Executive Chairman Paul Walsh praised Brown’s leadership, stating:
