DMC DeLorean Found After 32 Years Of Living In A Barn
We’re in love with the DMC DeLorean. We like to think it’s because we’re yet to drive one (they aren’t overly well known for the way they drive), but we can’t help but fall for their imdb wrap sheet. So when we find one that’s been left in a barn covered in dust since 1986, we need to cover it.
Barn finds are getting very common these days, and this time a father and son have tripped over a stashed away DMC which hasn’t seen light for 32 years. It’s completely original, plus a few thick layers of dust, and the odometer has only tracked between 30,000 and 40,000 miles. While it was in overall a good condition, even this tank can’t resist the onslaught of time, so on trying to open it for the first time, the door handle broke.
A pair of vice grips quickly solved this issue with a pristine, albeit it dirty, interior waiting behind the gullwing doors. A week later, the duo returned with an open trailer to take it back home. As far as we know it’s yet to be touched up properly, but we’ll update you as soon as we know more.
While you wait for an update, check out this modern DeLorean and report back with your thoughts!
If it wasnt for “the movie” this car was in, this heavy underpowered hysterically unreliable car would have faded into obscurity known as a coluusel failure from a drug dealing creater.
