Top Gear Series 28 Looks To Be One Hell Of A Ride
Top Gear is back for its 28th series, and it looks to be full of cars and laughter as Chris Harris joins Paddy McGuiness and Freddie Flintoff once again after the previous highly reviewed series.
The trailer promises us plenty of globetrotting, old convertibles, the powerful and hungry VW ID.R race car and the perfect McLaren 720S supercar. The Porsche Taycan also makes its debut on the Top Gear Test Track. It looks to be one hell of a series involving what we love most about the modern car show: broken cars, and the very best motor vehicles of the industry.
Electric cars are obviously being pushed by the Top Gear brand, with even the Top Gear website having a dedicated page for the genre. And it’s fair to say that by pitting the ID.R against the 720S, they’re trying to stay on the forefront of the EV movement. Makes a change from the Tesla Roadster debacle with Clarkson, Hammond and May at the helm.
The McLaren Speedtail, the fastest McLaren yet, also makes its debut on screen under the control of Chris Harris and can be seen racing a fighter jet over the famous test track. There’s the new BWM 8-Series, floating cars, and of course the small vehicle that Flintoff had an accident in.
Series 28 is coming soon, but until then, you can enjoy the special which airs tonight.
Top Gear is Not Top Gear anymore without Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. Top Gear will continue to fail.
