Jeremy Clarkson Pulls Through On His Word With Insane Delivery To Alpine F1 Team

The Grand Tour host Jeremy Clarkson has pulled through on his word to the Alpine F1 team after their performance at the Monaco Grand Prix.

Clarkson had posted to Twitter during the race joking that he would buy the team a pint if they get on the podium.

“Come on @AlpineF1Team I’ll buy you all a pint if you get a podium here.”

Alpine driver Esteban Ocon qualified in fourth position, however, was promoted to start from third after Charles Leclerc was handed a penalty for impeding Lando Norris during qualifying. After a dramatic race with rain about two thirds of the way in, Ocon managed to bag the third spot on the podium, his first podium finish of the 2023 season.

The French team have now shared to social media that Clarkson pulled through on his promise. The team posted a thank you message along with photos of the host with Ocon as well as Clarkson delivering the trailer full of beer with his Clarkson’s Farm co-host Kaleb Cooper.

“Delivering on his word. Cheers for the beers, @JeremyClarkson”

The Alpine team is based in Enstone, not far from Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm, so in true Clarkson style he turned up in a Lamborghini tractor with Cooper. It is also unsurprising that Clarkson decided to gift the team some of his own-brand beer, Hawkstone.

Fans have been loving the moment, with one commenting:

“Maybe @JeremyClarkson should get his beer on the Silverstone Podium instead of the massive champagne bottles, the spraying will be short”
