The Chevrolet Corvette C8 Was The Fastest Selling Car Last Month In The US

According to a report from iSeeCars.com, it looks as though the US is soaking up as much of the new Chevrolet Corvette C8 as they can, making it the fastest selling car in the country throughout January of 2021.

The American supercar, which sports a 6.2-litre small block V8 that sits behind the driver, has seen its fair share of issues since its release early last year, but that hasn’t stopped people from buying it it seems. On average, it takes about ten days for the car to be sold despite high dealer markups and an average price of $84,689. It’s so popular that it’s beaten a lot of ‘normal’ cars such as the Toyota Camry. This must come as increbdile news to the bosses at GM, who recently gave their employees a huge bonus for last year’s profits.

Following the incredible success of the C8 sits the Lexus IS350, which on average takes just 10.9 days to sell. Following this is the Genesis GV80, which is very strange, taking just 14.4 days to sell.

iSeeCars.com has also listed used cars in their statistics, with the Hyundai Palisade sitting at the top of the list taking 26.2 days to sell at an average price of $39,551. The Lexus NX follows that at 26.5 days to seel, and third place is yet again taken by the Corvette, which takes 26.6 days to sell used. the Mazda MX5 Miata, in comparison, takes on average 30.3 days to sell at an average price of $21,408.

Alex started racing at a young age so certainly knows his way around a car and a track. He can just about put a sentence together too, which helps. He has a great interest in the latest models, but would throw all of his money at a rusty old French classic and a 300ZX. Contact: alex@grandtournation.com
